About
Join our next open campaign meeting on Tuesday 11th June with a group of local community organisers and residents in Waltham Forest who are campaigning for a free and liberated Palestine.
We have just achieved our campaign milestone of 3,000+ signatures from people in WF who support divesting £18.7 million from the WF Pension Fund which is currently investing in companies supporting Israel's genocidal occupation. This wins us a Council debate on July 18th where councillors will vote on divesting its Pension Fund from Israel.
At this meeting we will be making plans to make sure the debate goes well and to let our councillors know that we want our voices heard. We will also be continuing to bring more council workers into our campaign who do not want their pension scheme funding Israel's genocide.
We will guide the meeting with an agenda and breakout groups. Everyone will be encouraged to contribute to the meeting in a way that suits them.
