Happy Fall! We can hardly believe that just a couple months ago, we were wrapping up the summer with a retreat for our outreach team (see pic below) and lots to celebrate in terms of relationships, trust, and community built this summer. Thank you to everyone who was a part of making sure we could keep services going strong this summer!

As the weather gets colder, the organizers and neighbors of Ward 2 Mutual Aid are inviting residents of Ward 2 to join us in making sure that our unhoused neighbors have coats, blankets, and other important supplies this winter. You can be a part of that effort by becoming a monthly donor here, or buying winter supplies directly off our wishlist.  

Every donation – whether $1 or $100, a single sweater or a drive to donate 100 coats – is an expression of solidarity and a vital part of building the community that we believe in. We’re asking our neighbors to help us spread the word this winter and help us ensure that we have the funds and the supplies to fulfill the urgent requests we get as the weather turns cold.

Thanks to your donations & many other forms of support, we’ve been able to meet urgent community needs for over two years – including biweekly grocery delivery to 150 households, and weekly outreach to 120 unhoused neighbors. Both are survival programs that address immediate needs, as well as platforms through which we build solidarity as the groundwork for organizing and advocacy.
