About
Uplifting Lives, Empowering Futures!
A charitable initiative under the umbrella of Front-Line Training as a charitable name, called Whakamana (Empower), dedicated to supporting vulnerable individuals, including the elderly, children, and people with disabilities, in various essential areas of their lives.
Our services span from assisting individuals in acquiring crucial identification documents to providing comprehensive support for processes such as gaining licenses, establishing bank accounts, securing iwi registration, and more.
Our goal is to foster long-term sustainability for individuals to thrive within Aotearoa society.
Additionally, tailor made modules where individuals for whom engaging in education is a struggle, the scope of reasons may span from shyness, confidence neuro diversity or other health issues, accessibility, transport, early withdrawal from schooling. Not all school leavers are ready nor equipped to transition immediately from school to Education and/or Employment. Resulting in the creation of Whakamana, where all have the support required to thrive in Aotearoa.
Our charitable purpose is to relieve poverty and enhance the quality of life for vulnerable populations by providing essential support services. We strive to empower individuals by equipping them with the necessary tools and resources to navigate their circumstances, thereby promoting their autonomy and integration into the community.
This purpose resonates with the Māori proverb Tūwharetoa, tū akina, tūkoha (Stand firm, support one another), which is foundational to our mission.
