We are intending to run classes within three separate disciplines of wood carving, though there is overlap between the disciplines:
We are intending to run classes within three separate disciplines of wood carving, though there is overlap between the disciplines:
- Relief carving - Requiring gouges and mallets to make three-dimensional "drawings"
- Chip Carving - Requiring knives and tools appropriate for cutting out wood chips in patterns
- Whittling - Requiring general whittling knives (safety versions) and carving hooks for making things like spoons and animal statues
