In an effort to be more transparent with the expenses of organizing Tampa Bay WordPress and to make it easier for sponsors to donate funds for potential recording equipment, refreshments at meetups, website hosting and domain registration fees, we've launched our group on Open Collective. All donations and expenses are public. All members are public. We also don't have to go through the effort and expense of creating a 501c.3 as we can use the Non Profit status of the Open Collective.

Please feel free to share the details about this group and donate! We're working on getting regular funds for our website hosting and domain registration fees. We'd also like to look at building a 'camera kit' that we can use for recording/streaming our Meetups.
