Young parents support by F. Kaleidos

Fundación Kaleidos is an Argentine nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and restoring the rights of children, adolescents and young families facing social exclusion across Argentina.

Since 2000, Fundación Kaleidos has accompanied pregnant adolescents, young mothers and fathers, and their children with care and attentive listening, so they can access the support they need, build healthy relationships, strang family bonds, and have access to health, education, and employment.

When a pregnancy occurs in adolescence, most support systems disappear. But Kaleidos stays, rebuilds connections, and provides the space to assemble the community of support, that allows young parents and their children to learn, grow and be themselves.

“We strive for children and adolescents to be cared for —not just be caregivers—, to continue their education, look after their health, and form loving relationships. No adolescent mother or father should raise a child alone; their children should grow up healthy with real opportunities. And their parents should be able to break cycles of exclusion and build a full future, creating their own life project.”
