ZippaTee brings comfort and dignity to children undergoing cancer treatment (or any hospital treatment) that requires access to a port line.  We sew zips into t-shirts which allows children and teens to keep their clothes on during treatments, adding comfort, function, and dignity while reducing fear and anxiety.

What’s a port, and why does it matter?
When a child is diagnosed with cancer, they often need a port-a-cath placed under their skin, usually in their chest. This small device allows nurses and doctors to give chemotherapy through a needle and IV, making treatments more efficient and less painful over time. 

For treatments to be safe, the area around the port must stay sterile. But with regular shirts, children usually have to fully undress to give doctors access. ZippaTee shirts change that: with a simple zip, healthcare providers can reach the port easily, while kids stay comfortable and covered. It’s a small change that makes a big difference on tough treatment days.
