250 a POP is a fund that helps grassroots organizations in Plymouth with unexpected costs of up to £250. Originally established during the Covid pandemic, the fund has been used for various needs; purchasing equipment, renting venues, transportation, insurance, training, and paying for time.
To access the fund, groups need to be POP members with a yearly turnover under £100,000. Four grants are awarded each month through a lottery process. Successful organizations can reapply after waiting for 12 months.
