We're facing a time of significant change, as our fiscal sponsor, the Open Collective Foundation (OCF), is in the process of dissolving. This development prompts us to find a new fiscal sponsor that aligns with our mission and values, ensuring the continuity of our work supporting the Salinas Valley farmworker community.
Key Points to Note:
- Transition to a New Fiscal Sponsor: We are diligently evaluating potential new fiscal sponsors to find the best fit for our organization. This process is critical to maintaining our operations and ensuring we can continue our important work without interruption.
- Upcoming Distribution Event: Despite these organizational transitions, our commitment to our community remains unwavering. We are actively preparing for Distribution 11, scheduled for Sunday, April 14th.
- Important Date - March 15th, 2024: The dissolution of OCF means that we have a deadline for accepting donations through our current fiscal sponsorship arrangement. March 15th, 2024, is the last day we can accept donations until we complete the transition to our new fiscal sponsor. If you wish to support our upcoming distribution or any of our ongoing efforts, please make your contributions at www.opencollective.com/adlt before this date.
Why March 15th? This deadline allows us to ensure all donations received can be properly processed and allocated according to our current fiscal sponsorship agreement with OCF.
