Challenge
As a direct result of the ongoing war in Gaza Strip, the existing infrastructure in Gaza Strip has been decimated, destroying the local economy and major healthcare facilities in Gaza Strip, intensifying the dependence on international aid, increasing the already existing unemployment rates, putting survivors lives at risk to famine and diseases. Hospitals are unable to provide medical care for patients post-surgery due the horrific demand on services and inability to find beds for patients.
Solution
Immediate Relief: Offer trauma care, maternal health support, and essential medical services to patients in four tent locations. Strengthened Medical Tents: Provide sustainable resources for trauma kits, medications, and specialist referrals. Capacity Building: Support local medical teams to serve ~20,000 families over eight weeks; planning a temporary medical infrastructure. Enhanced Healthcare Access: Refer complex cases to equipped medical facilities for advanced treatment (referral networks)
