About
We are North East Spicy Coffee Collective - a group of SWers based in North East England who want to create autonomous social spaces where we can relax and chat, free from stigma and judgement. We are not a charity - we are simply a group of SWers who want to build community with one another & help each other out! All current SWers are welcome to come to events and all forms of SW are valid. We are a trans inclusive space and welcome people of all genders to come join us.
We are horizontally structured - we do not need bosses or leaders to organise for us. There is a zero tolerance policy for transphobia, homophobia, racism, fatphobia, xenophobia, whorephobia or albeism and we do not engage with police.
Meet ups happen at different venues around the region on the last Tuesday of every month, 11am - 2pm - however, this is flexible and can change depending on people's capacity and venue access! Events are a sober space and based on mutual aid principles - workers can drop in at any time for a hot drink and moan.
We have free condoms, menstrual products, harm reduction supplies and literature, sex worker rights and support literature, a free shop and a mini library
