Atlantic Body and Soul: TWAC

Atlantic Body and Soul are a five man rowing crew, and 'shoreside' support team taking on the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge 2022.  We are rowing on behalf of Body and Soul, a UK registered Charity.  A charity that can transform the lives of people who have experienced childhood trauma. Including hundreds of young people each year saved from the depths of suicidal thinking, giving them reasons to live. Twenty five years of demonstrating the power of community, love, kindness and bravery. It’s never too late to heal. With so many peoples mental health battered by the raging storm of this pandemic it is fitting that Body & Soul are there to build resilience and a sense of belonging: the very qualities that our crew will require on our voyage. 

The crew all live in Portobello, Edinburgh and are members of Eastern Amateur Coastal Rowing Club, one of Scotland's leading clubs.  The crew includes a famous actor, and wide ranging experience from construction and skilled trades to impact investment.  We share a love of the sea and adventure and are proud to have the opportunity to support the amazing work of Body and Soul through this exciting project.  We wanted to do something really material for Body and Soul so have set a challenging but we believe attainable target of raising £500K as part of this project.  We would love you support the great work of Body and Soul and come along on the adventure with us...
