Hey there, my name is Austin, other wise known as AWFixer, The Autist, Crow of Judgement, and many other things. I want to tell everyone who reads this that FOSS is cool. That is basically the whole point of Axyl Projects, "Make FOSS Doable" (and make it cool) There are a whole list of things that we do over at Axyl Projects that I want to make sure you are aware of, so I will list out a few here, but I encourage you to go ahead and take a gander over to our Discord and check that out too!
- AxylOS:
- This is the OG, AxylOS, the project that started them all. Arch Based, Minimal, and perfect for anyone who wants to get into Arch and still have a community and support behind you. Currently being rewritten to move away from Window Managers to Wayland Compositors (namely Hyprland) and getting some major upgrades.
- Axyl O.S. Templates:
- This is a new 'idea' that we are working on, making Templates of Different Distributions, and making sure that there is a high level of reproducibility, readability, and reliability in these templates, as well as making a portal/panel that will allow for you to customize the Distribution and make it so that you can add/remove any packages that you like/dislike
- Axyl Bot Service:
- We know that there are a lot of Discord Bots (Applications) out there that are FOSS, but they are only able to be used if you either want to pay a bunch of money for individual fees, or have a lot of knowledge and a server somewhere and you are willing to host them yourself. Axyl Bot Service Aims to change that, and will allow you to use a panel/portal to make as many bots as you want for one fee, that we will manage, and you will own, and you can govern and use as you please.
- Discord Companion App
- This is an application that we are designing that will build off of the Discord App in a safe, secure, and compliant fashion, and make your experience using Discord more complete, fun, and enjoyable. It will have a lot of features that are completely free that make it so that you will be able to use Discord for everything that it offers, in a safe and compliant way, without having to turn to shady self-bots that could compromise your account or even get it banned.
- Axyl - Back From the Dead
- This is our biggest, and the most fun project yet, its goal is to take input from the people of the FOSS community on projects that they loved, that are no longer maintained (aka dead) and breath live into them again. This is going to be a fun project to start and maintain.
