This Relief Fund resulted out of numerous Starbucks Partners being fired for organizing their workplaces for a living wage, fair scheduling, paid healthcare, and workplace safety to name a few. The company took dramatic action began firing leaders in the movement at an alarming rate. At this point we are receiving phone calls on nearly a daily basis from leaders in the movement that are being unjustly fired for simply excercising their workers rights. These Workers need immediate relief to make housing, payments, buy food, and take care of essential needs. This safety net will allow Workers the space to organize for reinstatement, obtain temporary employment, and remain active in the movement.
