About

We are a group of black activists, socialists, and organizers that have been inspired by recent pushes for Medicare for all and similar programs, but who also recognize that many spaces taking on that fight stop short at billing. We recognize that the fight to improve the healthcare of our communities is much more comprehensive than one’s ability to pay for certain coverage, and consists of questions of access, of quality provided, of prejudice in healthcare providers, of proactive care, and of the ability for our communities to take our health into our own hands rather than depend on systems based in our exploitation.
