Thanks to Neighbourly, the online platform that helps businesses make a positive impact in their communities by donating volunteer time, money and surplus products, we now receive surplus food from two local supermarkets, Aldi (Walker) and Sainsbury's (Heaton).

We are also grateful to the Public Health team at Newcastle City Council who have identify funding to renew our membership with FareShareNE for this year.

Our regular food handouts can continue thanks to this and your support!
Btw: nothing gets wasted. Leftover food is shared with other community groups.
