Hi - first we'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who has donated to our fund over the last 12 months. It's made a huge difference to our capacity to support hundreds of people in Byker with food needs and emergency assistance. 

Since April 2021 we have not had a physical place to coordinate food distribution and we have now largely ceased our main food support activities and partnership with FareShare. That means that we are not seeking donations for community food support at present and you may wish to review your weekly/monthly donations if this is an important factor in your decision to support us.

That said...we are still active in Byker and in the process of re-organising our community activities, hopefully with a new base. Any income or donations are still welcome and will partly be held in reserve as we prepare for these next steps, and a portion possibly re-distributed to active local community groups we cooperate with and support.

Thanks once again for your generous support and for being part of our mutual aid effort, we hope to give you an update in the next few months on what we're planning.
