About

We organise against ICE raids in our communities in north and west London with know your rights trainings. We operate an early warning & community response chat so that neighbours can let each other know if ICE is nearby and how to stay safe.

Camden market, Kilburn, and Cricklewood are hotspots for immigration enforcement activity, but ICE is stepping up across the board. The Home Office openly racially profiles areas and workplaces, setting up more and more joint police-ICE operations to target workers already exploited by big companies like Deliveroo, Uber Eats, and Amazon. Those arrested in raids can be taken to indefinite detention in out-of-the-way centres.

These people are our neighbours. If the government won't dismantle ICE from above, we'll throw grit in the gears from below.

For the last five years we've run on a shoestring, printing our know your rights flyers at home or work and borrowing spaces for trainings. However, as ICE steps up their activity and we grow in response this is less and less sustainable so we have decided to fundraise for our core costs such as booking accessible training and meeting spaces (surprisingly hard to find), printing bigger runs of know your rights info, and food and other refreshments at community trainings and events. We will always keep our costs as low as possible.

You can read more about ICE and raids in the UK from our friends at Migrants' Rights Network and Right to Remain.
