About
The Cambridge Online Voting Consortium is the association of College student unions at the University of Cambridge which maintains, develops, and provides access to camvote.org, which is an open-source, secure, and verifiable voting platform based on the field-tested Basic Online Ballot (bob).
The Members fund the hosting costs of camvote.org via their annual membership fees. They are also the ultimate decision makers. The 'Chair' and 'Auditor' are selected at random from amongst the Members.
The platform is overseen by a small teams of SysAdmins elected by the Members.
We provide free access to camvote for Cambridge University societies and clubs, in addition to all clubs and societies affiliated with our Members. New societies or student unions can join by emailing sysadmins [/at\] camvote.org
