This volunteer over the years has completely woren his truck out delivering food to homeless camps.  He has to drive back into woods in all kinds of conditions and terrane.  He has to go over curbs to get food delivered to people under underpasses. He drives to other small towns to set up food and supplies gives. It broke down between towns and had to be towed to the next small town for repairs.  4 days later the truck was repaired and he was able to hitch a ride to pick it up and drive it back to Austin.  It would cost more to fix the motor, suspension, doors and windows than buying a newer truck.
