2023 April update
Published on May 5, 2023 by Erik Nordberg

(David Fifield) The total number of concurrent users of the snowflake-01 bridge stayed the same or increased slightly during April 2023, reaching about 70,000 by the end of the month.

The user count was probably helped a little bit by a minor performance optimization that was applied on 2023-04-08. It made the Snowflake software on the bridge use a little less CPU, which enables it to handle more users at once.
Bandwidth was roughly proportional to user count. The snowflake-01 bridge now transmits about 25 TB per day.

If you look at the user counts by country, you'll see a clear shift on 2023-04-10, where the unknown "??" country decreases and other countries simultaneously increase. This shift is due to the release of version 0.7.2 of the Snowflake browser proxy, which fixes a bug in previous versions that caused all clients to be assigned in the unknown "??" country.
