About
This project was borne out of Bronzeville Kenwood Mutual Aid's Chi Region Food System Omicron Impact Award for the purposes of:
CFSC bolstering food sovereignty on the Southside of Chicago through food rescue and redistribution efforts with the goal to launch a food rescue hub on the Southside. This will include building a network of partners to support capacity building efforts for food rescue, finding space for food rescue, canvassing stores for wasted food, providing neighbors with stipends to participate in food rescue, and supporting transportation efforts to redistribute food.
