Chaos Computer Quarterly Update 3!
Published on January 12, 2023 by Bayley Sweitzer

Hello patrons of The Computer! Happy 2023!

Though it's cold and grey outside, the last few months have actually seen a lot of growth here at The Computer. Notably, we recently expanded our physical space to include several more affordably priced artist studios! There's also been a lot of new volunteers becoming more involved in the organizing of the space at our bi-weekly Sunday meetings; new blood, energy and ideas are always welcome! And critically, thanks to you all, our recurring monthly donations are at an all time high. This regular, reliable income is crucial for budgeting and maintaining a no-profit, NOTAFLOF space with virtually no room fee (and free rice ;). There are a lot of expenses involved in running a computer like this and your generous contributions give us some essential breathing room. From the chaos of our hearts, thank you.

Also, yesterday marked the first in what will be a series of first aid, de-escalation, and self defense workshops open for anyone to attend. Thanks very much to @peopleshealtheducationprogram for the very articulate, informative and eye opening stop-the-bleed training. Stay tuned for more to come!

In the mean time, there's a couple upcoming benefits to look out for:
Tonight TONGIHT 1.12.23
Stacked lineup benefit for CC itself!
https://see-see.xyz/?p=753

Wednesday 1.18.23
Atlanta Forest Defense solidarity benefit and installation!
https://see-see.xyz/?p=747

As always, the password for our see-see.xyz events calendar is: "thereisnoband"

There's something going on pretty much every day for the rest of the Winter so swing by and check something out!

Thank you all so much! We couldn't do this without you.
