Kōwhai Ora – Grounded Growth

Kōwhai Ora is dedicated to walking alongside survivors of family violence as they rebuild their lives. We provide compassionate, long-term support, ensuring individuals and whānau have the tools, resources, and guidance to thrive beyond crisis.

Our unique 24-month program offers wraparound support, including advocacy, peer support, social work services, and connections to essential resources such as housing advocacy, legal aid connections, and financial stability. We believe healing is not a one-size-fits-all journey, so our approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and whānau-centered.

Grounded in values of empowerment, resilience, and connection, Kōwhai Ora is committed to fostering lasting change for survivors and their families. Our team collaborates with government agencies, iwi, and community organizations to ensure that every person we support receives holistic, accessible, and meaningful care.

At Kōwhai Ora, we believe in growth after trauma—because every survivor deserves the chance to reclaim their future.
