Our collective is built on transparency, community governance, and funding grassroots initiatives that align with our mission. Goals & Funding Priorities
This section explains how funds will be used and gives potential contributors confidence in the mission.

How We Use Donations:

  • 5-10%: Operational Costs → Website hosting, content creation, and outreach.
  • 50-60%: Community Projects & Decentralization Grants → Funding privacy tools, decentralized tech, and advocacy initiatives.
  • 30-40%: Donations to Aligned Organizations → Supporting organizations like the EFF, Tor Project, Open Privacy, and grassroots digital freedom initiatives.
  • Future Development: If funding grows, we will explore developing new tools, expanding educational initiatives, and supporting privacy-enhancing infrastructure.

How decisions are made:
  • All funding proposals are discussed openly in our Matrix Community.
  • Proposals are submitted through Open Collective, Matrix.
  • Fund distribution is approved by multi-sig signers and transparent to all contributors.
