This winter, the small apple tree given to us by the National Trust in December 2024 has been planted in the Micro Wellbeing Garden. It is positioned at the back so that it won't shade the lavendar plants. This will be monitored to see how it fits in with the garden. It may be substituted for a cherry tree if it seems more appropriate for the space. In the front is the rare Lavendar Woodhayes which is doing fantastically. Here is the apple tree today:
