Facilitator fees

For certified facilitators only. This is where you can pay your fees.

Paying your fees is how we keep the project alive and kicking.
The suggested donation is at least 15% of the profit from the attendee fees/tickets for your workshops. But of course, more is always welcome, and your generosity will be remembered!

Our model is built on a simple principle: those who derive professional or commercial value from Climate for All contribute a portion back to sustain the initiative for everyone.

When Do Fees Apply?
Our licensing structure is designed to be equitable, ensuring free access for educational and volunteer uses while asking for contributions when the workshop creates financial value.

No Fees Required When:

  • Volunteer Facilitation: You facilitate Climate for All workshops free of charge as a volunteer
  • Primary/Secondary/Higher Education: You use the workshop as a teacher in primary, secondary, or higher education institutions (excluding adult education) as part of your regular paid teaching activities
  • Personal Use: You play the games with friends, family, or community groups in non-professional contexts

Fees Apply When:

  • Commercial Workshops: You charge participants or clients for Climate for All workshops
  • Professional Service Provision: You incorporate Climate for All workshops into your paid professional services
  • Internal Organisational Use: An organisation implements Climate for All workshops internally (with different rates for private vs. public/nonprofit organisations)

Fee Structure Explained
The fee structure is straightforward but varies depending on how you’re using the Climate for All materials:
  1. Commercial Use Fee: 15% of the amount you charge (excluding tax)
    • Applies when you receive direct financial compensation for facilitation
    • Includes ticketed events, client workshops, and in-company training
    • Example: If you charge €500 for a workshop, the fee would be €75
  2. Internal Use Within Private Organisations: €5 per participant (excluding VAT)
    • Applies when a private company runs Climate for All workshops internally
    • Does not apply to educational institutions for their own staff
  3. Internal Use Within Public/Nonprofit Organisations: €3 per participant (excluding VAT)
    • Applies to government agencies, local authorities, and nonprofit associations
    • Reduced rate recognises the public benefit nature of these organisations

How and When to Pay Fees
Paying your facilitator fees operates on a trust-based system. We believe facilitators who benefit from Climate for All will contribute fairly to ensure its continued availability for all.

When to pay:
  • Ideally, right after receiving payment for your services
  • At a minimum, by the end of your financial year

The project relies on this income to maintain its accessibility, so thank you very much for your support.
