About
There is increasing interest in how a museum’s exhibitions can reach a wider audience, better serve distinct communities, and connect people with previously “only-here” experiences and content. This movement spans institutions from art to science, and purposes from broad accessibility to focused student spaces. This panel will serve to illuminate the successes, challenges, and recommended strategies for an exhibition team working to extend their reach with tested advice. By bringing together individuals working at a variety of scales and approaches, the discussion will illuminate common themes, prompt discussion of where different strategies may reach success, and draw an audience from across the CMEG membership.
