Who We Are

Code for Canada is a national nonprofit that connects government innovators with the tech and design community. Our programs enable governments to deliver better digital public services and empower communities to solve civic challenges using technology and design.

Residents and businesses in Canada expect to interact with government as easily and seamlessly as they do with a myriad of other 21st century digital services. Code for Canada helps governments meet those expectations by adopting new tools, new methods and new forms of collaboration.

By bringing government and civic tech together, we can facilitate knowledge sharing, break down siloes and work together to build the digital services residents expect — and deserve.
