It's difficult to get access to an industrial knitting machine, depriving aspiring designers and knitwear production from learning opportunities and the ability to produce locally and more sustainably. These machines enable the production of beanies, scarves, knitted garments and goods. There are so many creative possibilities, from large scale knitted art to AI-generated pieces!
Two of Sequoia Fabrica's members are knitting machine technicians. Now we just need to get one of these machines to California!
Cost breakdown:
- $4000 for the knitted machine
- $1500 for shipping and import taxes
- $1000 for supplies (already donated in kind!)

So far we have raised $2000 and were donated $1000 worth of yarn! Every contribution helps.
