About

Colors for Gaza is led by dedicated creative professionals and caregivers in Gaza, focusing on healing young people affected by the trauma of war and displacement. We place particular emphasis on engaging locally displaced youth, young women, and emerging creatives, while nurturing the next generation of youth ambassadors to inspire and lead future initiatives.

Our program serves children and teenagers, aged 5 to 18 with trauma-informed creative outlets including storytelling, arts, mental health awareness, community workshops, celebration events. Launched in April 2024, we have provided transformative youth arts spaces to over 400+ young people in Gaza, through energetic workshops and outreach events.

Our mission is to empower the youth of Gaza through creativity and self-expression, enabling them to process their emotions and share their voices with the global community. We strive to provide a safe and nurturing space where young people can heal from trauma, build resilience, and foster a sense of community through creative exploration and meaningful self-expression.
