Common Current is a community resource center and social experiment in sharing resources, based in Ventura, California. We believe in creating systems that work for everyone, not just those with financial means.

Currently, our active Time Exchange connects community members who share their time and skills with one another. One hour of your time equals one time credit—regardless of the service provided.

Through direct democracy and community funding, Common Current will evolve to meet the needs of our community. We envision building a tool library, hosting skill-sharing workshops, and creating a physical space where people can connect, learn, and collaborate. What we become is up to us!
