CoopCast

CoopCast is a platform cooperative intending to foster community between podcasters & their fans. It's common for podcasts to use Patreon for paywalling premium content and Twitter or Reddit for fans to interact. We think this creates an unfortunate divide between creators and consumers. CoopCast seeks to bridge this gap by creating a cooperative platform implementing a customizable payment system with robust social media baked in. Podcast-owners, worker-owners, and community-owners will all be given stake in the platform's success. For now, we are working to build the product, community, and infrastructure.
