Cooperative Hub

We aim to save funds to eventually buy or lease a physical space for Cooperation Denton.

This space will be built up to provide services and goods for our community, inspired by Cooperation Jackson's community center.

We envision this space as a services center with food, water, libraries, and basic hygiene stations such as showers and laundry.

Along with basic services, we aim to create a space for cooperative efforts to thrive, including business cooperatives to increase financial resiliency and dual power, robust bartering and gift economies, kitchen co-ops, repairs fairs, and more.

We envision a gathering space where everyone is able to show up fully without shame, where we all can develop our skills as community members and neighbors, and we each can benefit from the fruits of our collective labors.

This project is a very long-term vision which we will slowly accumulate funds towards as the years pass while we iron put the plan and structure.

This may also manifest as an ecovillage project or a housing co-op as well. The possibilities are endless!
