CORPUS Family Jam Sessions

CORPUS Family Jam Session is a bi-monthly initiative. The purpose of the series is to give young local musicians access to live instruments, professional equipment, rehearsal space, and the resources they need to meet, work and collaborate.

CORPUS Family Jam Sessions is a series based off an open basement jam session during the week-long CORPUS Distro in June 2019. CORPUS Distro was hosted at a storefront on Orchard Street, and programming also included live DJ sets, film screenings, CORPUS Radio, live performances, tattoos, a community panel, a hardcore matinee, and more.

During the open basement jam session, local musicians were able to use professional equipment and instruments and meet other young people. Some of the groups formed this day continued to collaborate after, on projects and as bands. The purpose of the series is to give local musicians access to live instruments, professional equipment, rehearsal space, and the resources they need to meet, work and collaborate.
