Create The New World

A free, multilingual network where social and environmental initiatives find each other.

Almost everything the world needs already exists. What is missing is the connection between the people doing it.

What we do

Anyone can join: a person, a collective or an organisation. Each one creates a profile stating what they need and what they offer, and both sides matter equally.

A grassroots project can look for volunteers, hands, time or expertise. Someone with knowledge to share can find where it is needed. An organisation can learn from another that has already faced the same problem on the other side of the world.

The network works in Spanish, Dutch and English (for now).

 Why it matters

Most initiatives working for change do it alone. They start from zero in their own corner of the world, solving problems that others have already solved, without ever knowing each other exists.

We are building a space for collective intelligence, so that impact stops depending on how isolated you are.

We also give visibility to projects that do their work well but have no regional or global reach, simply because they lack the means to be seen.

The network is free for everyone and will remain so. No fees, no paywalls, no barriers of language or geography.

We are not a funding platform and we are not a directory. We are the layer before both: the place where initiatives stop working alone and find each other.

Create The New World was founded by Erik-Jan Altink, in the Netherlands, and Stefany Alva, in Lima, Peru. The platform is built and we are preparing to open it to the public.
