Creative Sound Cooperative

The Creative Sound Cooperative is a collective of artists and musicians who are pooling their resources to build shared knowledge and increase access to tools in the field of creative arts and music technology in the New Haven community. We organize ourselves under anti-racist and abolitionist principles and aim to practice these principles in our organization and in our work with the community. In addition, we aim to foster a community of members from diverse backgrounds. We run workshops focused on creative technology, produce and promote concerts featuring the original music of our members and the community, and advocate for artist-run organizations that prioritize the needs of artists and their community. A long-term goal is to sustain a cooperative venue for concerts, workshops, and sharing creative technology tools with our membership and the community.
