It has been a while since I updated you all.  I apologise. 

For reasons that range from not really knowing how this platform works to technical failures between OC and the bank, things have been a bit chaotic. It was in August last year that I became aware that there were no funds in the bank account and started paying server costs out of my own pocket. 

After some poking around, I found the point of failure and was able to restart transfers in February.

So, I have submitted a couple of expenses to make up for (and properly reflect) where we actually are in terms of funds that represent reimbursements for server costs and our moderato stipendr.

As it is, we are back in balance and looking really good. With your contributions, I can pay the server costs and pay our moderator a stipend. 

There are no words that I can find to express my gratitude to you. Thanks to you, the folks who signup at diaspora.im can feel safe and loved and cared for by folks who look like them... have the same life experiences as they do ... speak the same truths they do. And I love each and every one of you for that.
