Today at Al-Zawaida Bakery, the ovens are getting fired up gently more than once to be used continuously to feed people in Central Gaza and beyond.
Thank you for reaching £1,000 on time last Saturday from the help of everyone, your funds have reached Gaza.
The oven needs to be lit more than once a few days before use so that it is ready to be used for extended periods of time to prevent cracking. We ignite it more than once before starting to ensure proper operation, and we repair it after any cracking occurs.
Our friends in Gaza's next project is to either make a miniature funeral home for the horrific martyring of journalists (their friends, including martyr Anas), or do something for young journalists. They needed £300 to start this project. Thank goodness, your donations have also reached this goal and we are able to send this to them immediately.
Thank you for your donations and contributions - these projects are all Gazan-led and our mission is to send the money globally directly to them to carry out whatever is necessary (we have already done projects with hot food, water trucks, hygiene kits, period dignity, tents, medicine, groceries, orphan visits, flour and bread, and more with your recurring contributions).
