About

Dispatcharr was born from a simple need: better control over IPTV. What started as a personal project has grown into a powerful, community-driven platform for managing live TV streams, EPG data, and VOD libraries all in one place. We built Dispatcharr to give streamers, homelab enthusiasts, and media server users complete ownership of their TV ecosystem. Whether you’re consolidating multiple IPTV providers, generating and matching EPG guides, transcoding streams with custom profiles, or integrating with platforms like Plex, Emby, or Jellyfin, Dispatcharr acts as the smart control center that ties it all together.

Our mission is simple:
  • Fully self-hosted streams
  • Privacy first with the ability to proxy streams
  • Reliable streaming with automatic failover, real-time monitoring, and transcoding options

Dispatcharr is proudly open source and licensed under AGPL-3.0. We believe in transparency, collaboration, and building tools that empower individuals rather than locking them into closed ecosystems.

Contributions help ensure sustainable development by providing financial support to the developers driving ongoing improvements and innovation.
