About

Building sovereign, local-first FLOSS to amplify the performance of developers, the minds of thinkers, and the drive of athletes.

Welcome to my open source lab! I'm Martin Dvorak, a software engineer dedicated to building tools that prioritize user autonomy, productivity, and data sovereignty. This Collective supports the long-term maintenance and evolution of a suite of tools used by developers worldwide.

Core Projects:

  • HSTR: A shell history utility that brings "suggest box" style filtering to Bash and Zsh. It simplifies terminal workflows and is a staple in many developer environments.

  • MindForger: A local-first thinking notebook and Markdown IDE that bridges the gap between deep thinking and data privacy.

  • MyTraL (incoming): A next-generation, sovereign athlete analytics platform. Utilizing GenAI, it empowers athletes to own their training data and gain deep insights without relying on proprietary cloud silos.

Let’s build a world where your data and the tools you use to process it belong solely to you.
