On November 19th 2019 our first 8 Working Groups were launched at a community event held at Eastbourne Town Hall, bringing together about 50 people from all sectors of the local community to start a process of deep collaboration on designing policies and projects that will deliver a carbon neutral town by 2030.

The Directors of the Eastbourne Eco Action Network CIC were present to give updates about the formation of the network and the role of the Working Groups within it. Many of the councillors from Eastbourne Borough Council were also present and they allocated themselves to the Working Groups. Each Working Group then held its own first ever group conversation to start the process of planning projects that will contribute to significantly reducing the town's carbon emissions.
