Lake Izabal Biblical Episcopal Christian Education School- Educacion Cristiana Escuela Biblica Episcopal de Lago Izabal

After attending the funeral of my great uncle Jorge in Mariscos, Guatemala the reverend who presided over the services reached out to my mother Janet and I in search of support for funding his elementary school. The school currently operates at minimal capacity with no desks, tables, or chairs other than church benches. There are not enough funds to feed the children every day, and their arent enough books, paper, pencils, or anything other school supplies so the children must take turns sharing materials and space. Although it is a Christian school its 4 person staff provide comprehensive lessons, and it is the only accessible school for the over 150 children who attend; some of which walk many miles to school.

Our small goal will help cover the cost of tables, desks, chairs, chalk/white board, school supplies, books, and healthy meals.
