Feeling the fear and doing it anyway.

In the context of the pandemic and recession we're currently facing, it could be easy to fall into a default mode of being cautious. What we've found from creative peers is that there's actually a desire to make the most of the situation by reconnecting with their purpose. For some that has meant leaving a dead-end job. In a recession. For others, like us, it's meant taking the leap of trying to make a project like Fake Blood happen.

So with the spare time we were lucky enough to have during lockdown, we started to prepare for a pre-Christmas shoot in December that would help us get the ball rolling. Having confirmed a studio, booked in our Core Contributors and planned our shoot days, Fake Blood is full swing in pre-production.

Once we have this shoot under our belt, we will be putting together a funding pitch that will include teaser footage and treatment for the film. We're really excited to be bringing everyone together for the first time as a team and can't wait to share updates as we progress.
