Community Event Branding, Hosting, + Facilitation

PROJECT
Part of: FLOWLab

Supporting our Collective: Hosting events in service of helping our members thrive.

About

FLOWLab⁵ members throw some pretty epic virtual events.

We are always down to help their ideas come to fruition and we do this in both big and small ways. Your donations to this project will help cover the labor we do for free or at a deep discount to help members show up as well as orgs with 10x as many resources and people.

Budget usage

Funds will help us continue our support members with project planning, creative direction, event branding, campaign design and communications and more. We will use this pot of money to compensate fellow member's for their collaboration and labor. Budgets are managed by a democratic process and money is distributed after funding approval by our membership finance circle.

Case Studies

Here are a few examples of ways that our community shows up and how we support each other's work.

 1. FTP* Book Club. Info is here.

2 . Book Launch Tech Check, Sept 2022
A smaller example of how we help our members is through testing, checking, and playing with tech before the launch of a live event. This was the case with GROW member Sharon Hurley Hall, who self-produced a virtual book launch. Our community helped troubleshoot the platforms and ensure everything went smoothly, including the accessibility features. Sharon has shared that we were instrumental in her event going so well. We were glad to help our fellow FL5 member look as flawless and on point as Sharon already is.

3. Neurodivergent Creator Global Summit, June 2022 - #ND23 KICKOFF

We helped GLOW member Angela Loynd, of Umbrella Alliance with the global co-creative kickoff for ND23. Angela hired coFLOWco to do the strategic planning, and we facilitated the live event pro bono to make sure the event went well. coFLOWco designed the branding, visual collateral, presentation deck, social media posts and assisted with copywriting as well as created all the related documents for the live event. We supported the team with even strategy and helped design a thoughtful and engaging event in less than a week. It went incredibly smoothly and the reviews were great!
