Forms are everywhere. They power field inspections, surveys, research, assessments, public services, humanitarian programs, internal workflows and countless other tools that turn real-world information into structured data.

Yet building a good data-collection experience from scratch is harder than it looks. Validation, conditional logic, calculations, complex field types, mobile interfaces and evolving requirements quickly add complexity. Existing platforms can solve these problems, but they can also introduce cost, vendor lock-in or limitations when developers need something more flexible.

The same foundations are designed to work across web and mobile applications, while remaining flexible enough for developers to integrate them into their own products and workflows.

form0 is released under the MIT License and is currently in active development. The ecosystem is evolving quickly, and feedback from early users and contributors can help shape what comes next.

Open data-collection tools can support a wide range of work, from engineering and research to education, field operations, nonprofits and humanitarian projects, especially where cost, flexibility or vendor lock-in can be a barrier.
