Final notice: Submit final expenses by EOD September 30

As we approach the dissolution of the Open Collective Foundation, I want to remind all collectives of the upcoming deadline to spend down. As we shared in early March and subsequent updates to collectives, the deadline to spend down is September 30.
All final expense requests must be submitted on the platform by 11:59:59 pm PDT on September 30, 2024, and will be processed on October 1.
This deadline applies whether you are submitting expenses, transferring to a new 501(c)(3), or moving to a new fiscal host. We are not able to make any exceptions.
At 12:00 am PDT on October 1, 2024, all collectives will be frozen on the platform. Open Collective Foundation will be regranting all remaining funds to a qualified, mission-aligned organization under the direction of our board of directors and in close coordination with legal counsel.
