IMPORTANT REMINDERS for Closing Out 2023 & Welcoming 2024!

Annual Collective Close-out Reminders
  • ALL expenses for 2023 must be submitted by Monday, January 15th, 2024, at the latest
  • ALL in-kind donation receipts for 2023 must be submitted by Monday, January 15th, 2024, at the latest

No more Crypto Donations 
As of January 1st, 2024, we no longer accept cryptocurrency as a form of donation.

2024 Insurance Renewal / Policy Addition
Insurance billing has begun for 2024. If you had insurance in the prior year, under the MOU signed, you've been included in the renewal and have, or will shortly, receive a bill from OCF for the annual premium. If your collective is leaving OCF or no longer requires insurance, this must be communicated as soon as possible. Premiums are not pro-rated. If your collective cancels its policy in Jan 2024, we can not reimburse you for the remainder of the year.

Expense Categorization Starting Jan. 2024
Beginning January 1st, 2024, all expenses must be categorized into specific buckets using a new feature on the Open Collective Platform. You can learn more about this process here from Dennis on our finance team. If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected]
