Help Olive get dental care

Olive is FFF Lebanon's lead campaigner against the patriarchal system responsible for the human trafficking of poor African and South East Asian girls sold into modern day slavery under the legal smokescreen of domestic work, refusing their rights to form unions the Arab world over. 

The Kafala system also extends to the cheap labor of an impoverished migrant workforce which is usually provided by men, such as in construction. Our hotter climate puts these workers at ever higher risks, such as campaigns for workers' rights around the Qatar World Cup provided a sneak peak for.  

We deeply regret not reaching out under better conditions with a plan to dismantle this system of complicity, rating workers from the West differently than their Oriental counterpart, from the get go of working in an Arab country. Although she was repatriated last year back home to her kid and parents in Kenya, whom she provides for along with other family members, too, a terrible car accident ensued in which she lost all of her upper front teeth and one at the bottom.

Hopefully, once her dental, muscular and mental health has recovered, we will be able to continue advocating for the abolition of this racist Kafala system, both, by providing community-based agro-ecological opportunities where illegal recruitment agencies carry out their empty promises and steal the poorest's money through debt schemes; as well as simultaneously mounting pressure in the Arab region.  

Notably, the COP28 conference center bears this exploitative signature, besides its meaningless leadership by the fossil industry's sixth largest polluter. We firmly reject the fascist persecution of migrant workers for speaking up in wanting to economically organize themselves, and shed light on the massive number of prisoners, sexual harassment, murder and suicide victims that fall prey every week.
