The 561 Garden is an Indigenous-led backyard garden & plant nursery located in southwest Durham, North Carolina.
Focused on cultivating pragmatic plants for sharing with the local community, the 561 Garden is operated in line with the values of the Groundhog Autonomous Zone. This means we're a low-input, sustainable, and organic garden, operating with an awareness of our region's changing climate.
